The Life1440™ Mission
The name Life1440™ reflects the recognition that each of our lives is the culmination of how we use the 1,440 minutes we are given each day. Most people want more out of life yet they often settle for what is rather than creating the life they desire. People settle for a variety of reasons:
- Lack of Knowledge
- Stuck in the Muck
- Too Busy
- And the list goes on…
For years Lisa Johnson has been helping people embrace their role as CEO of their life and recognize that as CEO they are responsible for the total management of their life. She leads her clients through a process through which they stop settling and create the life they desire. Lisa’s style is best described as a combination of inspirational and practical. Her coaching clients say things like:
“Talking to Lisa always helps me get clear about what I want to do”
“Lisa has a way of making me ‘open my eyes’ to things that are right in front of me."
“Sometimes it’s like Lisa is magic and can read my mind even before I know what I’m thinking.”
Lisa encourages people to dare to dream. She is most fulfilled when she is helping people stop settling for lives that are less than they are capable of experiencing and create the lives they dream of living.
Following her own advice to dream big, Lisa realized that while she loves working one on one with people and leading them through her process, there are only 1,440 minutes in every day and she wanted to help more people than she could ever reach through her one on one work so she founded Life1440. Lisa then invited Chris Bahns to become her business partner and help her spread the Life1440 message with the goal of having an even greater impact in more people’s lives.
Lisa and Chris are committed to the Life1440 mission of inspiring and empowering people to use the 1,440 minutes they are given each day to dream more, learn more, do more and become more. Through Life1440 they offer products, programs and services that help people stop settling for the life they have and create the life they desire:

Lisa Johnson has always been on a mission to make a positive impact in the world by helping others. After growing up in a small town in South Carolina, Lisa attended the University of South Carolina (she’s a proud Gamecock!) and then the University of Alabama School of Law.
After law school, Lisa moved to Chicago where she practiced law for four years after which she decided to take a leap of faith that led her to leave the traditional practice of law and move into a position in Corporate America where over the years she held roles of national responsibility in Sales, Training & Development and Executive Coaching.
Along the way, Lisa noticed a pattern – a lot of good people settle for lives that are less than they are capable of experiencing – and that troubled her. She channeled her sadness for people who are settling and shifted her focus to creating a solution to help these people and she figured out a way that people can stop settling for the life they have and create the life they dream of living. She is now on a mission to share the Life1440 CEO Program with the world.
In the area of family, Lisa is the proud daughter of loving parents who instilled in her the need to help others. Through blended families, for which she is immensely grateful, she is a sister, aunt and step-mom. She has more than 30 first cousins and loves family gatherings. Lisa is a strong advocate for awareness of and finding a cure for Alzheimer’s, which claimed the lives of her grandmother and her step-mother.
She is married to her best friend Tom and together with their Yellow Labs Believe and Puzzle they make their home along the coast of South Carolina.
Chris Bahns has always strived for something greater than himself that creates a lasting impact on the world. He looks at his life like a "book" with many chapters. All chapters together, make his unique and special book.
Chris grew up in Centerville, Ohio with his sister Melissa and brother Kevin. It was there where his parents taught him to work hard to earn what he gets because it will mean much more. They also encouraged him that he can accomplish anything he put his mind to if he was willing to fight through the difficult times - never give up. Chris takes these lessons to heart in all that he does.
After completing his undergraduate studies at Bowling Green State University, Chris earned a degree in Visual Communication Technologies. From there, his drive to communicate important messages and create impact through visual design lead him to being a team lead on a training team for a Fortune 500 company.
Chris, his lovely wife Alison, and their two boys Dillon and Zach live in Ohio where they are proud Buckeye fans and kayaking enthusiasts. The Bahns Family jokingly refers to their family dog (Maya) as a “Rotten Lab” due to her being a Rottweiler and Labrador mix. Along with a lot of fun and amazing experiences, life has also thrown many unexpected obstacles Chris’ way over the years. He realized early in his life that obstacles are part of life and he recognized that he has a choice. Chris refuses to let obstacles bring him down, instead he faces them and, in doing so, he becomes stronger as he moves forward in his life.
Chris is passionate about helping others through the work he and Lisa are doing with Life1440 and looks forward to the ongoing “Life1440 chapters” in his life.
Chris and Lisa have worked together for many years and have a great working relationship built on respect. However, their relationship changes temporarily when Lisa’s Gamecocks play Chris’s Buckeyes.
